For folks that read this blog and going to HeroesCon, I’m trying to set up a lunch get together tomorrow afternoon (Friday, 6.22)! Matt’s Chicago Dog is located right across the street from the convention center, on the Green! It’s got a great Chicago dog (obviously), and when Frank, Adam, John and I found it on Friday of last year’s show, it was about 90% less crowded than Fuel Pizza. So that everyone has time to explore the floor and get some stuff down before taking a break, let’s say 2 PM!

If you were at the High Point Museum of History for their Evaluation Extravaganza this past Saturday, you had the chance to stop by and see Jermaine as Lord Retail, still the authority on comics in the Triad. Not antique furniture or cutlasses, but comics.

While no one brought in an Action Comics #1 or Detective #27 during the Evaluation Extravaganza, he did get to see some neat Miracleman transparency overlay pages that almost made the trip worthwhile.
